Picturesque.

The house is cozy and it’s a nice place to visit, but parking is the main problem because so many people come for the day. If you arrive at the wrong time, there may be nowhere to park, even though spaces should be kept for overnight guests. A balcony where we could sit outside would have been nice.

The view is breathtaking. This was a wonderfully comfortable, welcoming house in a dreamlike village, with thoughtful decor and details and excellent hygiene. The kitchen is fully equipped, though we were too lazy to use it and preferred eating out. Breakfast was delicious and generous, just right before a walk. The “Retalhinhos” are delicious too. After a day of walking, the pool was a lovely way to cool off. We had four perfect days. A special, heartfelt thank you to D. Maria José for welcoming us with such warmth and kindness. We hope to return someday.

I can’t recommend it. The host was not friendly, didn’t even provide water with breakfast, and told us to drink from the tap in our room. Breakfast was literally one egg for two people, two papo secos, one butter, one jam, one cheese, and one queijada.
