Quinta do Mar Country & Sea Village

We booked through TUI using the Dutch site and arrived at 11am, before the usual 14am check-in. Since our room was already clean, they let us check in early. Room 702 felt quite cozy, and the rooms are clean and good for the price. The only downsides I can think of are ants getting in and the toilet that keeps blocking.

It’s a beautiful setting with stunning views and lovely coastal walks. The staff are helpful and friendly, and breakfast always has a full range of choices. A lovely escape from the busy world.

There are great paths along the cliffs, restaurants nearby, and three nice pools to choose from. The room was lovely and clean, with a very comfortable bed, and breakfast was beautifully laid out with plenty of food and drinks. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It’s one of the most peaceful places I’ve stayed, and I’ll definitely come back. The gardens could use a little tidying, but they’re still beautiful.

The room had a large, fairly comfortable bed, but the sofa was really uncomfortable. The pool area was pleasant, with loungers, and the surroundings were fairly calm. The staff were welcoming. The hotel feels somewhat isolated and doesn’t have direct beach access, which may be a drawback if you’re hoping to spend time by the sea. The main problem was the lack of soundproofing: you could practically hear everything from neighboring rooms, so privacy suffered a lot. For the experience, it felt quite expensive.
