For a studio, the room had a handy daybed, cooktop, fridge-freezer, microwave and 32-inch smart TV. It was quiet and clean, and the WiFi worked at a decent speed, though shows buffered now and then. If you're driving, it's an affordable base: smaller town is 7 minutes away, and larger towns to the east or west take about half an hour. Breakfast runs 8:30-10:30am, with eggs, waffle pieces, bacon, meats, cheeses and pastries. Reception staff are only on site for limited hours, but you can call them when you need something. A car makes this a good place to stay. The nearest town has shops, restaurants and a beach, about five minutes away, and Lagos is a 15-minute drive for beaches and cliff views. The hotel itself is peaceful, a nice break from a busy routine and a good starting point for day trips. Breakfast was very good, with fresh-cut fruit, cakes, sweets and the usual expected options. I’d happily recommend it, and might come back when I need some downtime.

The owner was wonderful and gave us lots of useful advice. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of different foods, and there’s a pool and lots of parking. Our room was roomy and quiet, the bed was really comfortable, and we even had a drying rack for wet things. A very good pick for a restful holiday.

The rooms are spacious, the hotel is peaceful, and it's close to everything. We had a lovely stay, with great service and a superb breakfast made with quality products. We really enjoyed it.

We had a great holiday here. The owners were always around to help and offer suggestions, and breakfast by the pool was good. Set in quiet countryside, the house has large rooms with everything you need. Highly recommended.
