We had a good stay in a comfortable room, and the staff were friendly. Everything seemed well looked after. Breakfast and dinner were fine, though the restaurant prices felt steep to me. Five euros for tap water and eight for four tiny hummus toasts just didn’t seem right.

The breakfast lady was nice, but the welcome at reception was poor. The woman there seemed bothered by our arrival. The room was a decent size but had no supplies at all, not even a plastic cup. It was cold with no heating, the bathroom was dark, and the TV only had six channels. Breakfast was disappointing too, just two slices of bread, two small croissants, and a little ham and cheese for two people.

The gardens were lovely and well kept, and everything was clean, but the place is far from anywhere, so you need a car. Check-in was a bad start after a 12-hour journey. The woman was very rude and just told us our room wasn’t ready and to sit there. Nobody spoke to us after check-in either. A friendly welcome would have made a big difference.

We felt discriminated against because we are people of colour. One staff member made me feel attacked, and the service staff were disrespectful and racist. Nobody made us feel welcome, and the whole experience was horrible. This place soured our trip. We won't come back, and I strongly advise people to stay elsewhere.

We only stayed one night, but really enjoyed the place and its surroundings. The receptionist welcomed us warmly, and the breakfast buffet was very good. The breakfast staff were lovely and friendly too. We'd definitely come back.
