The house sits up a steep hill, which caught me off guard the first time I drove there. You get used to it, though. The apartment was a very pleasant place to stay, fully equipped and full of charm. I’d recommend it.

The hostess was really nice, and the balcony has seats and a lovely view across the bay. There’s a coffee maker, microwave and fridge, too. It’s a beautiful place to stay in Machico, though getting in is a little tricky.
