You can hear the ocean from the apartments, and the morning views are amazing. The location is cosy and convenient, and the impressions were incredible. Jorge, the owner, is very friendly. I recommend visiting, you won’t regret it.

A good choice for two or three days if you want a quiet base, whether to relax or head out on a day hike. There’s a hiking trail very close, plus a nearby restaurant and bar. Getting in is easy, and the place has everything needed to cook simple meals. Nothing but positive things from our stay.

The owner was friendly and apologetic, and he refunded the €100 we had paid. Still, when we arrived there was nowhere for us to stay because he hadn’t checked the payment. If you book through his website or pay with PayPal, I’d suggest contacting him directly to make sure it’s all confirmed. We then had to find another place, which cost €50 more than expected. We gave away the food we’d bought for cooking in the apartment, ate poorly, and paid for at least two restaurant meals, another €100. The owner tried to help, but I wish he’d covered the extra €50 for the replacement accommodation. I can’t comment on the studios since I never saw them. The beach promenade seemed much too small, about the size of three restaurants, and the rocky beach isn’t appealing for swimming when the surf is choppy. On a nice day, the pool gets packed. Also, ER108 takes you to the roundabout, where signs say it’s only for boat operators; the detour through the hills doesn’t lead to town, so it’s better to turn back and approach from the west. I assume you don’t have my reservation on file since you didn’t make it and it was under another name, though I’m surprised you don’t remember something so important.
