We stayed at Vila Gale for just over three weeks, and the staff made the whole experience so positive. Ruben, who ran the activities, kept us smiling every day with energetic stretch classes and games with our friends’ children, who were all laughing, plus other activities. Everyone was friendly and helpful, from the breakfast team and our room attendant to the front desk. Breakfast had a huge variety, and we loved eating outside while watching the waves. We still hadn’t tired of it. Our room was clean, comfortable and air-conditioned, with fluffy pillows, a comfortable enough bed and spectacular ocean views. The bar on level one made really good pina coladas, and the pool bar had amazing salmon wraps. I also had a relaxing massage and facial from the lovely spa staff and felt amazing afterward. There’s a gym, sauna and Turkish bath too. The four pools were very clean: one indoors, one for children and two at slightly different depths. We never felt crowded, and there was plenty of seating. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

I’ve stayed here many times. It’s a beautiful spot right by the beach, with restaurants and shops within walking distance. There’s a great restaurant inside and outside, a very good breakfast, three swimming pools, a jacuzzi and a massage place.

The staff were the best part for me, always kind, smiling and ready to find a solution if I needed anything. The buffet has homemade food, and the hotel itself is beautiful, with amazing Atlantic views. It’s an older place that’s been renovated, which gives it a charming, almost movie-like feel. There are outdoor pools and a heated one in the spa, along with a gym, saunas, massage services, conference rooms and little lounges inside and outside the hotel. Summer was lovely here. I’d like to stay in winter sometime and watch the surf and winter weather from the hotel.

We were lost travelers dealing with one unfortunate situation after another. When we found this incredible place, the staff went above and beyond. They made sure we had a bed and helped turn things into an amazing experience. Everyone here has been kind, wonderful and accommodating.
