We arrived after midnight and the check-in time was flexible. It’s a simple, good hotel with an okay breakfast and good value for money.

The one awkward bit was the toilet seat position in our room. Apart from that, it’s a lovely, very clean hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast was reasonable for what the stay cost, and I’d recommend the place.

A really good shower, very clean rooms, and breakfast included. The rooms were nice, especially the roomy balcony and shutters, and we slept peacefully. The restaurant shuts on Sundays, but there’s a great Francesinha place just up the road on the right. Good value for the price.

The staff are friendly, and the hotel is clean, well located, and good value. It’s a little dated, though it has all the facilities. Breakfast is very basic, but given the low price, I appreciate that they provide it at all.

The receptionist was kind and understood why I had to leave, and they gave me a full refund, which I can’t complain about. I’d booked two nights, but at 1am I left after bedbugs bit me while I was asleep. I found one, killed it, and brought it to reception. I was already packing because bedbugs can get into your bags and travel home with you, which can turn into a nightmare. If you’re thinking of booking, ask whether the situation has been resolved for your own sake.
