The owner was unpleasant and kept watching us. He followed us when we went inside the house, and even sat keeping an eye on us while we were at the pool. Our room wasn't clean, and the mattress was awful, like sleeping on wooden boards. We stayed four nights and nobody came to clean. When we asked for bath towels, we were told they only change them every three days, which says a lot about the owner's lack of hygiene and empathy. The listing was misleading about access to a kitchen. It said we could use one, but the owner told us not to go in. The sun loungers were old and dried out, and the parking area was dirt with lots of bushes. It's a disgrace that this house is offered as local accommodation. We'll never book it again.

We had three magnificent weeks of rest and peace at Casa do Soito, the best holiday I've ever had. I arrived too early on the first day, but the owner, Sr. Luís, let me and my family in because he knew we'd had a long journey. One thing's certain: if God allows, we'll all be together again next year. At Casa do Soito, you don't just have a holiday, you meet people who stay in your heart forever 💖

It was the worst experience of my life. We paid over €300, and I would never recommend this place. We were a group of friends, but there was no privacy. The owner constantly watched what we did, even sitting near the pool to keep an eye on us, and repeatedly told people to speak quietly. The listing on Booking.com gave the impression that a kitchen was available, but we weren't allowed to use it. We brought food and asked to put it in the fridge, then discovered the meat had spoiled because it hadn't been kept cold. The beds had mattresses that felt like wooden boards. When we raised it with the owner, Sr. Luís, he asked if we wanted him to go buy one for us. On the second day, he said we had to leave by noon because the house would be full. We left at 2 pm because we already felt pushed out. When we left our room and went down the stairs, he was waiting at the bottom to see what we were doing. No privacy at all. Never would I recommend it.
