Matosinhos Relax and Fun

The staff looked after us so well and paid amazing attention to detail. We stayed in a stylish room and loved the delicious breakfast. There was also free cake and coffee at the entrance, a nice extra.

We had the apartment, and I highly recommend it: spacious, classy, with a good bed and everything brand new. The whole place felt cozy and personal, with just two rooms and two apartments. It was fully renovated to modern standards in 2024, with real care in the details and craftsmanship. The pictures and descriptions don’t come close to how much better it is in reality. The double and triple glazing kept it so quiet that even high-end airport hotels would be put to shame. No road noise at all. The metro is two minutes away, with the orange line going straight through the city. Bus #500 runs along the coast. Both take you toward the tourist centre, with plenty of options along the way in the 30-minute journey. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with tips or anything else you need, especially the main host Helena. The cook’s fresh homemade breakfast was really good. Treat your holiday to a stay at Ocean Boutique, away from the busy tourist area. Public transport is very affordable at 2,50 a ride, and a taxi there or back costs less than 10e. Six out of five stars!

We spent a few nights here over the Easter break, and Ocean Boutique Guesthouse was a rare find. The rooms are beautiful, the breakfast is incredibly good, and host Joao is fantastic. It’s close to the beach and restaurants, with the tram to Porto stopping right outside. I can really recommend staying here.

We had a great stay in this lovely apartment near the beach. Breakfast was awesome, and the free bikes made it easy to get to the center. Would definitely recommend it!
