Moov Hotel Porto Norte

We found the location really convenient, close to the metro and right beside a huge shopping centre. The room was clean, comfortable, modern, and excellent. Breakfast was great too. It was my first time seeing a pancake-making machine :)) We’d definitely recommend this hotel!

Breakfast is available, and the washroom was small but clean. The room itself felt a bit cramped, with an open wardrobe, desk, and chair. This is a budget hotel near a metro, bus stop, and shopping mall, so getting around is easy. Service is mostly limited to room cleaning. I had to collect the kettle from reception myself. Decent place overall.

The reception team were friendly and quick to help when my toilet kept flushing around 10 pm. The receptionist came straight up, fixed it, and showed me what to do if it happened again. It was fine after that. The room was a good size, and the shower had both a rainfall head and a wand. There was some road noise even on the fifth floor. The TV offered plenty of channels in different languages, and reception had a screen with airport arrivals and departures. There are snack vending machines and breakfast on the ground floor, though we left too early to try it. We walked about 10 minutes to the nearest metro. From there, many lines go toward the city centre, but we went to Matosinhos Sul and walked to the beach. A taxi from the Anemone sculpture back to the hotel cost just 8 euros. There’s also a big shopping centre nearby, which I didn’t get around to exploring. We picked this modern, friendly hotel for our last night because I had an early flight home. Good value.

The team were always kind and happy to answer questions or offer suggestions. I found the spot just beyond the city especially convenient, since it was peaceful but still close to everything. A short walk gets you to the tram for an easy ride into the city centre. Moov Hotel was also very affordable, particularly when booked ahead, so it felt like strong value. A comfortable, convenient option.
