The outside is beautiful, and the staff were friendly, though they didn't speak English. Inside, there was a slight smell. The towels weren't changed and wouldn't dry in the room, and the old shower leaked through its curtain. We were looking for somewhere cheap and fairly close to the ocean, and that's what we got.

We picked this place because it was near the beach festival. The rooms have an older feel and are small, but they were clean, with decent beds and easy check-in. It's a bit far from the city center, though we were close to the festival.

For the price, this was a really good little hotel. The garden was nice, the rooms were modern, neat, and well kept, and the staff were helpful, though they spoke little English. There are excellent restaurants nearby, and I'd recommend the place.

We were in the room right behind reception, so we could hear the receptionist shouting on the phone from 8 am. Quite a way to spend a morning when you were hoping to rest.

Good value for the price. The guesthouse was nice, the rooms were good, and everything was very clean. We did have some miscommunication because we couldn't speak Portuguese.
