It was hard to leave, though we know we’ll definitely return. The food deserves a mention too, it tasted incredible and was made with so much love. From the moment we arrived, the whole team treated us with warmth, smiles, kindness, and real humanity. Beyond the wonderful places to visit, including Marialva castle, the Côa museum, Marialva village, and Trancoso, this home gives you a chance to turn inward. You can enjoy the silence and peace and feel like you finally have TIME. A unique experience, highly recommended.

A wonderful weekend, with excellent home-style food. The team was welcoming, friendly, and professional. I’d definitely do it again.

PEACE is the word for this place. There are lots of little outdoor spots to relax, and the staff and owner were really attentive. The heated pool was at 31°C at 10 p.m. The rooms are immaculate, and the bed is super comfortable, though I could’ve used a little more bathroom space for personal items. The dining area was always clean. Breakfast is simple but delicious, with homemade jams, cheeses, and plums picked first thing in the morning. We had Bacalhau à Brás for dinner on our first night, and it was delicious! Too bad they don’t serve lunch.

The decor is stunning, and all the distinctive touches make the place feel so cosy you want to come back. The room was spotless and nice and warm. Breakfast was wonderful, with lots of variety, and the staff member there was friendly and attentive. I also want to mention how available and kind the employee was when we called and asked if we could arrive at 9:30 p.m. The whole team’s effort makes this place special. Congratulations to the owner, it’s a magnificent quinta!
