It was peaceful, and the terrace gets sun all day. The price feels low for what you get, and the place was every bit as clean as our host had promised. We also got a lovely welcome: really good bread, two pastries, and a bottle of wine. That was a lot!

The owner was incredibly helpful, answering anything we wanted to know and letting us stay past the usual checkout time. Since we were running late, he waited up for us until late at night. He'd also left a welcome gift: wine, a typical pastry, sponge cake, and tangerines, with fresh bread the next day.

The village was very quiet, and the house had everything we needed. It's near Coimbra. We couldn't stay for all the days we'd planned, which was a shame. Thanks, Jorge, for the welcome treats. We'll recommend the place.
