There are good facilities for kids, including a very nice garden, tennis court and wall, football field, and children's area. Having the animal park next door is great for a visit with children. The staff are nice and attentive, though many seem inexperienced. Rooms are comfortable but not very big, just okay, and could do with a refurb. The bar and restaurant are pleasant, and the food is good but not great. For a four-star hotel, breakfast should be better. The pool is tiny, and on weekends it's likely to be packed with families.

The pools, indoors and out, and the lovely spa made this a great short stay. Our room was just the right size, with comfortable beds. The receptionist and dinner chef did more than we expected, especially with the off-menu dishes they made for our kids. Loved it. A great spot for a night or two if you're passing by. Thank you for a wonderful stay ❤️

We had a good experience for the money, with friendly staff, a good breakfast, and a relaxing nature setting. There weren't any light lunch choices at the hotel, just the main restaurant. Also, the bathtub was very slippery, which could be risky for children or older people.

The massage was the main reason for my low rating. I booked a therapeutic one, but the therapist seemed to lack solid training or understanding of what that involves. It was mostly oil being spread over me, without pressure point work or attention to my muscle contractures. I left feeling misled, and 70 euros isn't cheap for this kind of service in Portugal. I told several hotel staff members how disappointed I was, but they offered no compensation. Aside from that, it's a pleasant place in a great setting for nature walks. The Templo Ecuménico is well worth seeing, and the pool and jacuzzi are nice too.

The traditional Portuguese food at the restaurant was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. There are indoor and outdoor pools, a tennis court, football pitch, indoor and outdoor children's play areas, and an animal park beside the hotel in the forest. It's family friendly, with clean, comfortable rooms and staff who are friendly and very helpful. We'll be back.
