The rooms were comfortable, and dinner was delicious, with typical regional food. The kids had fun in the courtyard and on the basketball and football field, even though the weather meant we couldn't use the pool. We had a great stay at Quinta do Fundo. A good choice for families wanting some quiet time 💆♀️

The quiet setting is what stayed with me most. Quinta do Fundo sits on a family farm among vineyards, sheep and visiting birds, with the peaceful feel of the place never disturbed. There are lovely views of Monte Farinha and the Santuário da Sra. da Graça, and the river Cabril is close by, with a walking trail from the farm. Our room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Breakfast was restocked each day, and we could also cook our own meals. The outdoor areas are beautiful too. Joana and Rodrigo were so welcoming, left coffee for us and shared a vinho verde from the region. Dona Graça took care of the daily cleaning and replenished anything we were missing. Thanks for having us and for the tips on places to see nearby. We’ll definitely come back. A beautiful place, highly recommend! 😉😊😊

The pool and the scenery around it were especially lovely, and the whole property felt wonderfully peaceful. Quinta do Fundo has beautiful mountain views and is a great fit if you’re after quiet, nature and comfort. Our room was spacious, clean and thoughtfully decorated. The hosts were kind and helpful, making us feel at home and offering suggestions for things to see in Mondim de Basto and nearby. Breakfast was wonderful too. Everything exceeded my expectations from arrival through the end of the stay. I’d happily return and recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway in northern Portugal. A real hideaway!
