The location is handy for shops and the beach, and the internet worked without trouble. The pool is small but usable. I didn't eat breakfast or other meals there, so I can't comment on the food. The hotel feels old and could use some care. The bed was awful, harder than the floor, and although the apartment had been cleaned, I still found dust, hair, and crumbs. I arrived Wednesday and didn't see anyone cleaning until Saturday, when I really wanted the bin emptied. I'm not sure how often rooms are serviced. There's an indoor pool, but you need a cap, and the spa costs €6 for 30 minutes. I didn't try it. The fitness room looks quite new and has lots of different machines, which made me wonder if that money might have been better spent restoring the hotel. The TV is more like a monitor, and there could be more outlets for charging. I didn't pay much, though I can see why someone who paid what some other reviewers did might be annoyed. It was an okay old place, but it needs some attention.

The food was fantastic, really delicious and top quality, and the staff were polite and nice. We had a pleasant week here. One thing to keep in mind when booking: our reservation said sofa beds, but the room only had sofas, so we unfortunately didn't have a bed.

We paid €1250 for a week, and the apartment didn't come close to what we expected for that price. Everything inside was old, dirty, and unhygienic. The towels were yellow and had other people's hairs on them, as if they'd been used for years. There was no air conditioning in the bedroom, so sleeping there was impossible. The pool was so tiny we couldn't swim in it. The elevators were small, and the whole building needs refurbishing. They don't clean on Sundays even though we paid for seven nights. A terrible experience, and one we won't repeat.

Please don't stay during the winter months. Our apartment had mould and was freezing, with very poor internet and not enough hot water. I stayed in spring before and it was lovely, but this visit was horrendous and made me very sick.
