We booked two rooms for five adults for four nights. It was a big mistake. As soon as we entered the halls and rooms, there was a bad drain smell. In the bathrooms, the shower drain was full of hair, the taps were sticky, there was fungus on the walls, and the toilet paper holder was rusty. After a four-hour drive, we had to clean two rooms and one toilet ourselves because no staff were available when we asked for the toilet to be cleaned again. Hot water took five minutes to arrive, then turned cold after about a minute. The rooms had dirty cutlery left by previous guests in the fridge, towels with brown marks, and dirty linen. The beds were rock hard, and we barely slept for four days. The TV switched off every 15 seconds, and the air conditioning didn’t work. There was no soundproofing. The property is beside a national road with cars passing all day and night, the air conditioning units outside were by the windows, and the fridges were very noisy. Service was basically nonexistent. Housekeeping accidentally removed one of my belongings, then found it and returned it. Since they’d mixed it with linen used by other people, I asked them to clean it separately. They told me to wash it myself in a bucket by the laundry room. I finally got home feeling completely sick. The Wi-Fi didn’t work at all for the first two days. After that it was still so slow and unreliable that even opening websites was difficult.
