I booked three nights in July over the phone, then called the day before to confirm and say I expected to arrive around 11 p.m. Sr. José didn’t seem very welcoming about the late arrival. We got there close to midnight; he handed us a key and showed us to a room outside the residence, on its left side. It looked nothing like the photos in the listing. The room was uncomfortable and unhygienic, and the water was cold. The next morning we went to reception to explain that it wasn’t right to put us in a room like that. Sr. José wouldn’t listen or let anyone else speak, and made no attempt to sort it out. I’m posting this as a warning. What should have cost around €150 for three days ended up costing us about three times as much. We had to move hotels, but it was during the Copa do Guadiana and everywhere was very busy.

We had a very positive stay overall. The location was good, the room and bathroom were spacious, and the bed was comfortable. Having air conditioning was a real plus. Some things need updating, though: the doors are old, and the shower area, including its broken base, needs renovation.

Just a basic place, which suited us for a night while we were passing through. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the owners very nice. The bathroom is small.
