I don't think the owner is trustworthy. She rents the same apartment to several people at once.

We felt at home as soon as a very friendly woman welcomed us. The apartment was spotless and modern, with toys for the kids, a fully equipped kitchen, TV and Wi-Fi. Towels and shower gel were provided too. Nearby shops and restaurants were handy, and the motorway made trips to Porto and the Douro wine region easy. We all loved our stay, and my daughter was still talking about the apartment weeks later. We'd happily return.

The location worked really well for us, with supermarkets and pharmacies close by, and Porto and other places in northern Portugal easy to reach on a road trip. I also found it affordable for a family, especially a large one. The people we dealt with were friendly, but the apartment needs a lot of maintenance. The breakers kept tripping, only the living room TV worked, the appliances were worn, and both the washing machine and water heater leaked. The kitchen chairs wobbled so much they couldn't be used. There were no radiators since they weren't in use, though two small space heaters were available. We'd come back if the needed repairs were done.

The bedroom was spacious, and having two bathrooms was really practical. The apartment was clean and worked well.

Five-star service and cleanliness, and we loved our stay. Shops are close by, with good access to everything and the motorway just five minutes away. We'll be back soon! 😊
