Apartamento Areal

The attic layout made it hard to feel comfortable. In several parts of the place we couldn't stand upright, and the roof windows were damaged while the blinds didn't work, so the constant light made it difficult to rest. Although the listing calls it an apartment, that's not what we found. The bathroom had no windows or proper ventilation. The air became unbearable, and our child ended up feeling unwell. We also found poor cleaning under the beds and rugs, and the furniture was visibly worn from heavy use. After checkout, the host told us they planned to file a complaint against us on Booking. I hadn't wanted to post a complaint in case it caused trouble, but I found that response completely unacceptable. I think Booking and other platforms should check the conditions here, since they don't match the listing and may put guests' wellbeing at risk.

A great apartment for larger families, in a peaceful area close to the beach.

We had a really pleasant family break, with long walks along the clean, wonderful beach and our dogs. It was only a few minutes away on foot. The apartment was clean, roomy, practical, and very nice for the price. The neighborhood was quiet, though we were there in winter.

The landlady was attentive and very nice, and the whole apartment was spacious and clean. It had a kitchen, a large sofa, a trundle bed, one bedroom with a shower bathroom, and two more bedrooms sharing a separate bathroom with a tub. One thing to keep in mind, I wouldn't shower in both bathrooms at once.
