Villamar Style Maison

We’d definitely stay here again. The hotel is lovely and within walking distance of the coast. Vanesa welcomed us when we arrived, and the staff were always ready to help with directions and suggestions for food and places to see. Our room was clean and well equipped. After a long day touring, we especially appreciated the strong shower pressure.

We stayed two nights at Villamar Style Maison and had a great time. The location is excellent, about a five-minute walk to Nazaré beach and close to bars and restaurants. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a nice balcony looking onto the pool. Breakfast had a good range of tasty food and very good coffee. The pool was nice for cooling off in the heat, though it could get a bit noisy when there were lots of people. Private parking was available for 5€ per day.

The hotel is a short walk from Nazaré’s main beach, with a small pool and a friendly, helpful owner and staff. It’s a cozy place with 11 units, clean and comfortable rather than luxurious. Breakfast was very nice, with limited choice because it’s a small hotel, but the quality was fine. There’s a small bar, a spot to sit and eat food you bring from outside, a small guest parking lot, and free street parking. A self-service laundry and grocery store are also a short walk away. North Beach and the big wave surf museum in the old fort are about a 40-minute walk away, or a short drive if you’d rather avoid the stairs. The funicular wasn’t running in September 2025, though it’s another option when it is. There are several nice towns nearby, including Alcobaca, Batalha and Obidos. Obidos is delightful, but gets terribly overrun with tourists and buses in the warmer months, so it’s better to go early or late.

Easy to find, with secure parking right in front of the building. The hotel feels modern, clean, and intimate, and it’s just a short walk from the seafront. The pool is lovely and breakfast is fantastic.
