The owner was very attentive, and the restaurant made a good impression from the start. We had a lovely view from our table, the setting was nice, and there was a big TV in the room showing football. The waitress was cheerful and looked after us well. I was especially glad to get fresh vegetable salad with the meat, which is unusual enough to deserve a thank-you. The white wine was delicious, and even the toilets were clean. We came back for breakfast the next morning. It was good, with tasty coffee, though the choices were limited. They made us eggs and had some cold cuts. I’d recommend visiting the hotel and restaurant.

We went for lunch with friends and had a superb time. The ladies who welcomed us were warm and cheerful, and the food, drinks, and service were all excellent. We’ll be back soon, and often.

At Pensao Moderna, both my soup of the day and the fish dish were okay.

It had been many years since I last stayed at pensao moderna, and things are still much the same: clean rooms, polite staff, a good breakfast, and a great location. The price is good too. There’s also a very good restaurant right next to the guesthouse. I had the privilege of meeting the third generation.
