The wine, made from grapes in the neighboring vineyard, was very good. I also loved the cozy rooms and their great views. It’s a stylish old country house, with an impressive hall on the ground floor, and the owner was charming, hospitable, and extremely nice.

It’s a small, cozy local place where they grow grapes and make wine. I’d hoped to stay the night when I visited, but no one around seemed to speak English. My Portuguese is very limited, so that cut short my chance to experience what looks like a lovely place.

The rooms are really comfortable, and the farm is in a great location. We loved the wine from the winery, too, so take a box along for the rest of your trip! This is a working vineyard and winery, with beautiful views and a chance to make great friendships. We booked at the last minute, but Dona Maria Cremilde and Sr. Eurico were so caring and accommodating. Their daughter Marta is also an incredible person to talk with. We had such a wonderful time and will definitely come back.
