Casa Baleia a Vista

We loved our four nights here and enjoyed the delicious breakfasts and dinners. The house is beautiful, and you feel welcomed and well looked after. Manuela even does her best to accommodate your food preferences if you tell her what you like. The house and surrounding area are both peaceful. It was an unexpected find for us, and we ended up loving every day. I’d definitely recommend staying here and using it as a base to explore the island.

The villa was built the year before, if I remember right, so everything felt new. It was clean and cozy, with a big, well-equipped kitchen, nice rooms, and a comfortable bed with an ocean view from it. The owner was kind and welcoming, and both the breakfast she made and the delicious three-course dinner were great. We were a couple staying for two nights in April, and it was a lovely experience. If we return to the island, I’m quite sure we’ll stay here for a few nights again.

We spent a little over a week here and would happily come back. The updated decor and the house’s excellent cleanliness stood out, as did the lovely views of the green rolling hills and ocean from the patio and porch. We chose to have dinner prepared by the owner almost every night. The food was delicious, and Manuela was kind and accommodating.

The owner is a fantastic cook, and every meal we had was top notch and very reasonably priced. Our group could all stay together in the Villa, with good-sized rooms and clean, practical shared spaces. Outside, there’s extra room to gather, have a fire, or play games, with gorgeous views that give the place an upscale feel. Thanks for an amazing stay!
