Casa Senhoras Rainhas - Óbidos - by Unlock Hotels

The staff were super friendly and helpful, and breakfast was delicious. Our ground-floor room had a balcony looking onto the castle walls, which was so cool. The hotel sits inside the walls and is close enough to walk to all the Obidos attractions. Driving in, don’t follow Google. Park outside the gates behind the bank and pizza restaurant, where there’s a huge lot; getting your bags to the room is easy, and the hotel can help if needed. I’d happily stay again. 10 stars.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Senhoras Rainhas in Óbidos. Joana at reception deserves a special mention. Her recommendations were fantastic, from a dinner place in Óbidos to detailed advice on what to see and eat in Sintra. She made a real difference to our trip and was amazing!

The price is reasonable for a hotel that feels five-star in every way. I had the silver charming room, and charming barely covers it. There was a fridge, coffee and tea maker, safe, complimentary water, and a great shower and tub, plus a lovely welcome note. The staff were friendly and spoke English, and the hotel is right inside the gate. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The bed was fantastic, with fluffy pillows and vanilla-scented linens, and the large bath towels felt like a real treat. I didn’t want to leave!

Natalia made us feel at home right away with a warm check-in, a welcome shot of Ginga, and thoughtful suggestions for places to eat and explore. The staff were attentive and friendly throughout, and the hotel's position inside the historic walls made it easy to enjoy Obidos. Our beautiful room looked out onto the ancient city wall and the restaurant courtyard. It was spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed and an atmosphere that suited the historic setting. We had a delightful two-night stay and would wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Casa das Senhoras Rainhas. We’re already looking forward to returning.
