The rooms have mold and stink.

We loved our stay! The house is big and comfortable, right inside the walls in an excellent location. The bathrooms were clean and perfect, with a hot shower, and the bedroom was spacious and comfortable. The bedding was top quality, embroidered in Portuguese style. There's a large kitchen with plenty of utensils, and breakfast was delicious. The living room has a TV and fireplace, plus a really stylish balcony. Sr. Lino, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back!

The welcome was impeccable. Our host was incredibly kind, spoke French and did everything he could to make guests feel welcome. Breakfast was included and very generous, with several kinds of bread and homemade jam. The lemon and tomato jam was especially delicious! For 50 euros, we got a night in a small, very clean room with its own bathroom. The bathrooms are shared, but we had no neighbors on the first floor. The decor is a little dated, which is part of the charm. It felt like staying at your great-aunt's house, in the nicest way. Óbidos is a charming village, and walking along the ramparts at sunset is a real treat.

The room was good, and the kind family who runs the place made us feel completely at ease. The bathroom is shared. You can park right outside the inn if you have the proper identification.
