Maria, the owner, is wonderful and has lots of tips for avoiding the tourist traps. The house is charming and clean, tucked into a quiet square inside the Castle walls, right in the heart of the Village.

María made us feel right at home, and the house was spotless, welcoming, and thoughtfully cared for. It’s in a great spot within the walls of Óbidos. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and everything about the place felt just perfect.
