The food was amazing, and the hosts took such good care of me during a relaxed, well-organised surf retreat. They were really helpful, and I had a worry-free week. The guesthouse is beautifully restored in a lovely village, with a real Portugese feel created by the owners. Everything was neat and clean, with a kitchen, living area, swimming pool, and parking. I forgot my swimshorts at the surfschool, and they were kind enough to send them to my home in the Netherlands. Unbelievably kind. I can't wait to go back.

Tânia and Cátia's cooking made the week feel like a true Portugese experience. They should put out a cookbook! The guesthouse is beautifully renovated but keeps its original Portugese details, and they even have chickens and goats. Tânia, Cátia, and Carlos were all so friendly and made everyone feel welcome. I had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back.

A very calm, welcoming place, kept really clean. They maintained a comfortable temperature throughout our stay, with care taken over the heating. We had a baby with us and, although they were caught by surprise, they got a cot into our room in no time.

The food prepared fresh by Tânia was incredible, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all in several delicious courses. They checked whether we were vegan, vegetarian, or had other dietary needs. Water, fruit, and drinks like wine were always available. After breakfast, Carlos, Tânia's husband and surf instructor, took us to the surf school in Peniche, where we got wetsuits and boards for really great lessons. Cátia collected us afterward, and lunch was already ready. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We finished the days with an hour and a half of yoga, a perfect balance. The pool and loungers were modern and spotless, and the accommodation was stylish, stunning, and clearly put together with a lot of care by an owner with an architecture background. We were three girls looking for a beautiful yoga and surf retreat and found it. Getting there was easy, about an hour by bus from Lisbon, and a transfer from the guesthouse was also possible. Once in Óbidos, Cátia picked us up from the bus after we got in touch by email. We loved the whole experience and would return anytime.
