I loved this sweet little guest house. It’s been restored beautifully, and has a rooftop terrace plus a full kitchen guests can use. My room was cosy and clean, and the staff were really helpful. I had a late check-in, but the receptionist was happy to wait until I arrived. Thank you! Five stars from me 😊

We had a wonderful visit and would definitely come back. The guest house had everything we needed, felt safe, and has a lovely roof terrace where we enjoyed sitting with a glass of wine in the afternoon. Breakfast offered a great spread of fresh fruit, breads, and cheeses. The building has been lovingly restored, and the staff were very friendly and gave us some great recommendations. It’s within walking distance of the main harbour, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby.

We stayed in the Master/Maestre room on the main floor, which had plenty of space. Breakfast was very good, with lots to choose from. Guestmar is in the old town, away from the condo resorts, and the staff were attentive and happy to share information. They even booked a hair appointment for me. We had a lovely stay.

The uppermost suite was stunning and spotless, with a comfortable bed, a powerful shower, quiet air conditioning, and its own sun deck. We spent six nights in Olhão and I’d love to return. Juan and his team did everything they could to make the stay special, going well beyond what most hosts do. Breakfast is a must, it was exceptional and beautifully presented. The building is just minutes from restaurants, bars, and shops. We used the local train, which was pretty reliable and very cheap, and the ferry stop is a ten-minute walk away. The island trip was reasonably priced too. Thanks to everyone for making our first Algarve trip such a special holiday.
