That big wall covered in grateful messages from past guests, in all sorts of languages, really says something about the place. It feels like a little paradise, peaceful enough to rest and recharge, with a real family atmosphere that I love. I’ve been coming back for more than two years, and it’s still my favourite hostel in the Algarve. The owners are kind and helpful, the vibe is lovely, and the rooms and common areas are always super clean and comfortable. I love staying here whenever I’m in Olhão.

The rooftop is such a relaxing spot, with a great view over the city, and the kitchen has everything you need. The place feels like home. This is the best hostel we’ve ever stayed in, very clean and nicely set up, and the owners are so lovely. Thank you Storks :)

Paula was a wonderful host who worked hard to make sure guests were comfortable. Whenever I needed to do something, she let me use her personal things, and I’m really grateful she went out of her way to help. When I stay in someone else’s home, I try to act like a guest. Paula has a family to support and still does her best to provide a good place to stay. I hope some guests will respect her hospitality and hard work instead of behaving as they would in their own homes.

From the two roof terraces, you get an amazing view across the city. Breakfast has lots of choices, and there’s a kitchen guests can use. The owners are two locals who give good advice about where to go. There’s also a stork living nearby that you might spot from the roof. Great people and a great hostel. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, with air conditioning, a TV and Wi-Fi. The mattress was good too.
