This Quinta makes a comfortable base for exploring the real Alentejo, with the comfort and warmth that Alentejano people bring. We had wonderful motorbike rides to Odemira, Ourique, and especially the enchanting Serra. The farm itself is lovely, with open views and quiet, melancholic scenery. It's a fabulous mix of modern tourist accommodation and the calm of the Alentejo plain. We even enjoyed swims in the pool during an October that was still quite warm.

We spent two nights here and really enjoyed the experience. The peaceful setting and very comfortable beds made for a relaxing stay. The morning sheep sounds were perfect, and the gentle AC was lovely. During the heat wave, having the pool was a game changer. There were games and a spacious shared sitting area and kitchen near the pool, which worked well for our two families with little kids. The staff were very helpful and served tea, coffee, meals, and snacks. At one point there was no hot water, but the manager got it sorted quickly enough.
