The staff and management made this stay special. The front desk team were kind and professional, and the manager helped with every request. They even arranged an amazing birthday surprise for my wife, which made the trip unforgettable. The location was perfect for us, with authentic local restaurants nearby instead of the usual tourist traps. It’s a 12-minute walk to the train station, and from there you can get to the Time Out Market in about 15 minutes, or take a quick 15-minute Bolt ride.

The restaurant wasn’t good, and getting around on foot was a hassle since you have to walk along the busy road for about 10 minutes to reach anywhere. The hotel itself is pleasant, though, with big, clean rooms, friendly staff, and a good breakfast. Traffic noise is the main problem. Loud motorcycles on the heavily trafficked street outside can wake you at night.

My anniversary holiday was completely ruined. I paid $8500 for a luxury room with a balcony, but was put on the first floor after asking for the top floor. They said there were no other rooms. The room smelled of dogs, the bathroom was mouldy and dirty, and the balcony looked onto a busy four-lane road with heavy traffic and pollution. The noise outside was huge, day and night. I booked through booking.Com after filtering for 4-5 star hotels with reviews above 8, and I can’t understand how this place is called four stars. Nobody cleaned the room during the six days I stayed. I asked to cancel and check out within a few hours of arriving, once I realized I couldn’t stay there, but they told me I wouldn’t get a refund.

The location was nice, and the staff were lovely and friendly. Breakfast was very basic, though, and after two days it felt like there were no choices left. The room also needs updating, with decor from around 2000. The bathroom needs repairs, the kitchen needs an upgrade, and the fridge needs fixing. There’s no hob or microwave.
