The pool was amazing, and we made the most of the late-night swims and barbecues during our five days at this lovely place in Quinta do Anjo. We were lucky with the weather, too, and got a relaxing pause from the city. The house had clean rooms, fresh-smelling beds, and a kitchen stocked with everything we needed to cook. There’s a good supermarket about a five-minute walk away, with all the Portuguese food people rave about. We felt completely spoiled, from check-in onward. The adorable grandma kept checking on us and bringing food and little treats. If you have a car, there are lots of beaches nearby to explore. Lisbon is about a 45-minute drive, and the location gives you a nice mix of peaceful days at the house and activities close by, whether on foot or by car. I’d definitely come back if I get the chance. This place has it all.

The pool and outdoor area were the highlight: a lawn, barbecue, and everything was very well kept. The pool was incredible, and our dog enjoyed the shared space and Setúbal too. With a car, the location is great and close to everything. We stayed in Casa Suite, one of four apartments in the house. Someone lives in one of the apartments, and that person wasn’t very pleasant. The suite was clean and had all the essentials, including a clothes rack, pegs, iron, hair dryer, washing machine, pool towels, and kitchen gear like a coffee maker, toaster, and microwave. There’s air conditioning in the bedroom. The balcony gets lovely sunsets. There are stairs, and the downstairs area wasn’t especially useful to us. It’s basically an entrance with a bed. I did miss having a sofa to watch TV, since the television is in the kitchen. We saw a few small ants at first, nothing too worrying, so don’t leave food out. On the last day, though, they were suddenly everywhere, on the floor, walls, kitchen furniture, all over. We had to use the spray that was there, and it killed them quickly, but we had our dog with us and it was toxic for him. Apart from the ants, everything was very good. Obrigada!

So much room and all the conveniences you could want, plus a pool. It’s a villa, and absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommend.
