This felt more like a holiday cottage where we stayed. The owner speaks French, and the region is pleasant, well away from the big city. For cyclists, it's flat and windy, though there are also some [trails?]. Lisbon can be reached by train, with one train an hour.
The house is adorable, full of poetic little details. Beatriz is lovely and always ready to help, and the quinta sits in a beautiful area where everything feels peaceful and quiet.
It's a quiet, rustic place out in the countryside. Not bad, but there's nowhere nearby to get a drink or breakfast.
Dona Beatriz is very friendly. This is the right place if you aren't looking for luxury.
