The listing on Booking did not match what we found at A Casa de Coyra, Rua da Bogalheira, 161 Lugar de lama - Mozelos, 4940-384 Paredes de Coura. Everyone deserves respectful treatment, including people with limited mobility and wheelchair users. We had made wheelchair access a condition before confirming, but the owner showed little interest in resolving the problem. There are steps between the bedrooms and the rest of the house. A ramp had been put in, but it was so steep that only someone pushing very hard could get a wheelchair up it, and a wheelchair user could not move around the house. The house also had no air conditioning or ventilation, which the owner said had been switched off, and the hot tub was not working, also reportedly switched off. This felt like both a scam and discrimination against people with reduced mobility.
