Orange Grove Residence

We stayed at Orange Grove Residence for three months, from September through November, and really enjoyed it. The apartments are well equipped, there’s a great pool, and our two daughters had some outdoor games to play with. The sunset from the hill is spectacular. It’s a 15-minute drive to the Dutch school NOAP, and other international schools are nearby too. Filipe was a great host, always around to help or offer advice.

Orange Grove Residence is tucked into nature on a hill among orange trees, so it’s a lovely peaceful place. Getting to the beach is easy enough, about a 20-minute drive. We had a fantastic week, with spacious, spotless rooms and everything we needed. The beds were comfortable too. Filipe made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. He’s a great host and treats guests like close friends. We’ll definitely be back!

The pool was gorgeous, there were always enough sun loungers, and it was wonderfully quiet when we wanted some peace. Orange groves surround the place, with walks where we could pick fresh figs in the morning. The accommodation was very comfortable and had everything we needed. I didn’t like my pillow, so the owner went out shopping just for me to get a feather one. He really couldn’t do enough to help. We had a super break and hope to return. Thank you, Filipe!

Families with kids will feel at home here. The property is very well kept, with separate adult and children’s pools measuring 100 and 80 sq.meters. The host is warm and welcoming, and even leaves a culinary first-aid kit for guests. We’d book again without hesitation. The residence sits on a hill surrounded by acres of orange trees. There are six spacious, fully equipped flats over two floors, with especially good kitchens, three balconies and a sunny terrace. You’re unlikely to miss anything.
