Hotel Areosa

We mainly wanted somewhere to rest after exploring, and for the price this place worked well enough. It is a fair way from the city, though. The room was plain but fine, and the shower worked properly. A fan helped with the heat, and the reception staff were around whenever we needed them and generally pleasant to chat with. The blankets didn’t look clean, so my friend and I left them unused.

The staff were the one genuinely good part, friendly and helpful. My room had a broken lock that made the door difficult to open, and the mattresses were very hard. There was mold in the bathroom and the rooms were dirty, so the low price didn’t make up for the stay. A heater in the room was the only other plus. The guest next door also kept smoking the whole time.

It was fairly cheap, but the room we got looked less nice than the ones in the pictures, and there was no AC.

The shower was the only part I liked. Our room was tiny, had no clothes hangers, and the bed was really uncomfortable. Some towels were dirty when we got them, and the bathroom started smelling from the drains. It was also extremely noisy, and the location is far out. The staff were okay, but nobody told us we had to leave the key at reception to have the room cleaned. They didn’t change the sheets at all, just the towels. Breakfast was very basic, only bread rolls, cheese and ham. I wouldn’t stay here again.
