Julieta was warm and helpful, while still giving us space, and her restaurant suggestions were really good. The villa is easy to find, close to the highway, and has plenty of private parking. It’s beautifully finished, with a lovely flower garden and a quiet, friendly brown dog. We were three adults, though, and the futon-style third bed was too small and not very comfortable, which brought down our room rating.

There’s plenty of room in this thoughtfully designed, well-equipped two-room studio. It’s in a great spot near the municipal park, with the shopping area and center of Pinafiel only a few minutes away. Highly recommended.

We were really taken with the pet dog and made friends with it. We’ll be back! The apartment is centrally located in Penafiel, and lots of places, including Aviero, Chaves, Porto, and Arouca, are under an hour away by car. Check-in was easy thanks to the lovely host and employee. The room and bathroom were five-star, and it worked well for us since we always eat out. Just a note for others: there’s only a microwave, kettle, and coffee machine.

Julieta was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We had a very comfortable stay in a lovely room in a traditional house, with a modern ensuite shower room. The bed was comfortable, and the linen and towels were superb. Parking behind the gate felt very safe.

Right by Penafiel park, this was a lovely place to stay. Julieta was attentive and helpful, and the wonderful dog Jota was an extra treat.
