Prazeres House

The location was great for getting away from the busy city, and I really enjoyed the house. Thanks so much for an incredible stay. Looking forward to coming back.

The location worked really well for us, tucked away from the busy center but only 15 minutes from basic necessities by car. The neighbors were super friendly, and the landlord was excellent, always available for questions and finding solutions when we needed something. The house was spectacular, with large, beautiful, modern rooms and very modern bathrooms. The shower even had music. There was plenty of space for groups and families, including billiards, big tables, comfortable sofas, and TVs. We loved our stay and will definitely come back. 10/10.

The area was incredibly peaceful, with hardly any tourist crowds, and it was easy to eat well and cheaply. We definitely need to visit Portugal more often. This is one of the best houses we've stayed in. I've added it to my list of recommended places, which only has three entries, including this one. The house, garden, and wine cellar are exceptional, and thoughtful supplies mean you don't need to run out shopping: toilet paper in the kitchen and bathrooms, plus oil, vinegar, salt, dish soap, coffee capsules, sugar, napkins, and more in the kitchen and wine cellar. There was also a bar with lots of alcoholic drinks, which I understand are charged separately. We didn't buy any or ask about them, as we were three families with children and don't usually drink much. Still, having them readily available felt like a lovely gesture of openness and trust, one worth returning. The family we contacted if we needed anything live just across the street on the left. They were incredibly welcoming. We had coffee with them in the kitchen, they gave us fruit and local cured meats, and showed us their farm where they grow their own produce. We have to come back in summer to enjoy the garden and pool. We found the house on Airbnb and had some concerns about paying upfront through PayPal, but it really delivered on its promises and more.

We loved our stay and will definitely come back. It's a great place to spend a few days, really peaceful, with just two neighbors about 100 meters away, and they were very friendly. The city center is 15 minutes by car. The heated pool, barbecue, kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms were all excellent.
