Alex Surf Hostel

We booked less than a week before our dates, and got lucky when someone cancelled. It left us with great memories. The accommodation was clean, lovely and well located, and both the room and surf lessons were worth the price. The staff were friendly and shared tips on local spots. One small thing, the knives on the upper floors were a bit blunt and might need replacing, hehe. We’ll be back, we love surfing!

I spent a spectacular week at Alex Surf School, learning to surf and getting to know the area. The instructors and everyone working with Alex were kind and helpful, and I learned a lot while feeling very welcome. They also gave me great ideas for what else to explore nearby. The facilities were comfortable and clean, and the vibe was 10/10. I’d highly recommend it.

The surf lessons were a highlight for me. All the teachers were kind, funny, and knew how to teach surfing. I spent a week at this lovely surf camp and had a great time. The whole team was incredible, and I’d happily recommend the place. It was a pleasure staying here, and I’m already looking forward to coming back. ❤️

The rooms were clean and well looked after, and the camp had a fun international mix of people from Asia, Canada, the US, Latin America, and Europe. The group BBQ was a lovely touch too, with good food and a relaxed atmosphere. Our instructor Xander deserves a special mention. He was calm, attentive, and gave his all in every session. The other instructors were nice as well, but Alexander really stood out. Much respect to him. We’re grateful for our time at Alex’s surf camp. The people, atmosphere, and lessons all came together so well, and the team made the place feel warm and genuine. We’d definitely recommend it for its good energy and soul.
