Apartamento na Cidade do Surf

The host couple were wonderful and attentive, and the house had more than everything we needed. I've never seen a kitchen with so many things for cooking. A fantastic experience.

The apartment is spotless, very clean, organized, and in great condition. Sr. and Sra. Mota welcomed me so warmly, and even gave my son a fridge magnet. The Motas also shared some good suggestions for places of interest near Peniche. Overall, it's a visit I'd happily repeat.

The one thing that fell short was the temperature. Even with two heaters/fireplaces, it was a little chilly for such a large space. That was our only small downside. Everything else made us feel very well cared for. The hosts welcomed us warmly and had treats ready, which was especially thoughtful since the shops were closed when we arrived and we were hungry. They'd also stocked a wide selection of tea and coffee. Our late flight and drive meant we got to the apartment after 2 a.m., but the hosts waited for us without any fuss or extra charge. We saw them smiling out of the window as we arrived. Such a lovely couple. The apartment was cozy, bright, spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a great layout. Everything we could need was there, from the furniture and appliances to all the little things around the kitchen. You can tell a lot of care went into making the place comfortable. We were glad to begin our holiday in Peniche. It's a quiet, cozy place with an incredibly beautiful cape, every bit as lovely as Cabo da Roca. Peniche is also a convenient base for reaching many charming parts of Portugal, and it's much quicker to get to than Lisbon. Parking was easy, with a space right under the windows every time. The WiFi worked without a hitch, and although the apartment is on the ground floor, that felt like a plus after a busy day. We also had a large, cozy veranda or balcony, perfect for a smoke break. There were so many lovely touches I could keep going, especially compared with other places we've considered. Huge thanks to the hosts. We'll definitely be back. Portugal is magnificent and impossible not to fall in love with. The best trip ever!

The apartment gets a 10, and the owners an 11. They were incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. It's fully equipped down to the last detail, so it feels like home. The location is very central, with supermarkets, laundry, restaurants, banks, and all kinds of services nearby. Highly recommended for a stay of several days.
