The rooms were spotless, and the bathroom was modern and clean, though shared with other guests. Karla and Suzi were really welcoming and helpful. The guesthouse is right in central Peniche, with free street parking just outside. Sound carries a bit between rooms.

The shared kitchen and dining area worked perfectly well, and there’s a comfortable terrace to relax on. The rooms are charming, the staff were kind and helpful, and the place has the essentials. My only real issue was the tiny shower. I’m short and fairly small, but still managed to knock the handheld shower off and soak everything else. Otherwise, it was a great stay.

At DWAN Guesthouse, the conditions are incredible, and it’s considered one of Peniche’s best guesthouses locally. Suzi is a lovely host who knows the city inside out and is deeply involved in the local community. We at Waterlost recommend staying here.

Suzi, the manager, kindly picked us up at the bus stop. We slept well in the comfortable beds, and the rooms were nice. There’s also a cute terrace. I’d definitely recommend it.
