The worst part was how loud it got at night. From around 11pm until 3.30am, the neighbours were eating and gathering, shouting and laughing as if nobody else lived there. The walls and doors are paper thin, and my son is still awake now. The owners didn't even ask guests to keep the noise down after a certain time. It's also right by the road, where rubbish was collected at 11.15pm on Monday night. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you're hoping for a relaxing holiday in Peniche.

I've travelled for over 30 years, and this was my worst accommodation experience. The photos make the place look much better than it is. The apartment faces the main road, so you hear every passing car, and the thin walls let the neighbours' talking and drinking echo through the place until after 3am. I couldn't sleep. The beds were the softest I've ever encountered, just poor-quality foam, and the ridiculously flat pillows gave no support. The rooms are very basic, with poor bedding and no real soundproofing. There was no air conditioning, which was okay, but there weren't even hangers or bathroom hooks. The facilities feel thoughtless when it comes to basic needs. Avoid this place.

The host was really nice, and remote check-in worked perfectly. The place was clean and comfortable, with a lovely balcony and a roof that was a nice extra. Just don't use the washing machine. It doesn't work properly, and we wasted money for nothing.
