A really cute and comfortable place, more of a bed and breakfast than a hotel. The owners were easy to reach and always helped with whatever we needed. The location is excellent. I’d highly recommend staying here.

The apartments are high-spec and comfortable, with a roomy kitchen and living area as well as a roof terrace. It’s a little outside town and can be tricky to find, among residential blocks, but there’s an excellent supermarket close by. The walk into town along the river takes 10-15 minutes.

Really impressive place. The room was big, and there’s a very large shared area with a kitchen and living room.

We only stayed one night, but the room was spacious and comfortable, and the shower was really good. We didn’t use the kitchen, though they made us feel welcome to use it if needed. They gave us a voucher for coffee at a nearby bakery. It was simple and easy, but probably wouldn’t be pleasant in the rain, just something to consider. There’s enclosed parking. We did struggle a bit carrying our bags up the stairs.

The kitchen equipment is great, there’s plenty of everything. The hosts are really friendly. I highly recommend it for a stay in the Douro Valley.
