Belem Hotel

The back rooms are small, but very clean, and the balconies are lovely. TV reception is mostly absent, with only a couple of Portuguese channels coming through. The Wi-Fi works really well, and the service was excellent. Breakfast was good, though I would have liked some vegetables for those of us who don’t eat meat.

The rooms at Belem Hotel are really nice, and breakfast was excellent. The team made us feel at home and went out of their way for guests. I’d highly recommend staying here 🙂

This is my favourite place to stay when I visit Portugal. It’s centrally located, with easy access to trains, buses, and highways for getting around the country. The staff are welcoming and professional, the hotel is very clean, and breakfast is fresh and great.

Day 2 of 12: We’re happy with the hotel so far. The staff are professional and friendly, and handled every question and request promptly and with a smile. Our room is clean, comfortable, practical for what we need, and has enough space. The breakfast buffet has lots to choose from, including drinks, fruit, cheese, bread, cold cuts, and hot food like bacon and scrambled eggs. Day 6: Things keep getting better. The room is cleaned every day, the beds are made, and the towels are changed. They even brought in a fridge. Reception arranged a taxi, and Anna had some of her mother's traditional cakes put in our room. We think the hotel deserves three stars. Day 10: Still no complaints, it’s only improved. They left roses in our room for my girlfriend’s birthday. The hotel staff are amazing.
