We didn't get to use the outdoor areas during our stay in early April. It was cold and windy, and the balcony wasn't inviting in that weather. That was the main thing we missed. The hotel worked perfectly for our plans, since we expected to be out all day and only came back to sleep and have breakfast. The breakfast was lovely, with local bread called “bolos,” fruit, muesli, ham, cheese, pancakes, and plenty more. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean, and it was quiet and peaceful. It's well located and good value for money. Service was okay, but felt a bit impersonal, with hardly any interaction. I usually like a warmer, more engaging welcome.

The breakfast was top-notch, and there's street parking. It's centrally located, about 10 minutes from the centre. The hostel feels new, and the rooms are clean and very good, with a super comfortable bed. Even though it's near the airport, the planes didn't disturb me at night. A clear recommendation for a night in Ponta Delgada.

We rented a car nearby for just 65 Euros for three days to explore the island, and really loved our stay here. The location was great, the free breakfast was great, and so were the service and the lovely staff. Our modern room was beautiful, and the value was fantastic. It exceeded our expectations. Thanks so much to the staff and owners, great job 👍😎

The service was the best part. They kept in touch on WhatsApp, were on time, and helped a lot with booking a taxi for my early flight. I also got a great breakfast box for the flight. The Hostel Rom was amazing, all bright and modern. It has indirect lighting, a rain shower, and buttons by the bed to open the blinds. xD

A really bad experience. We couldn't sleep at all because of airplane noise, other guests, and noise from the shared kitchen in the morning. The location is about a 20-minute walk from the center, not close by. I'd choose somewhere farther from the airport area. We also found cockroaches in the room. I don't recommend it.
