Oscars House, Quiet Area for Small Families

We stayed for eight days in December 2023, including Christmas, and found it a quiet, tucked-away place. In general we had a good experience and would recommend it, though there are a few things to consider. It works well for two people or two adults with two kids, but not really for four adults. The kitchen is well equipped, including a washing machine. The house is very dark inside. Banana trees and walls shade the ground-floor windows, and every upstairs window has dark film over it, so it stays dim all the time. For natural light, you have to go out onto the terrace. There's also a lot of humidity, a mold smell in the kitchen cabinets, and plenty of mosquitoes indoors. The Wi-Fi is slow and unreliable. The BBQ area is nice, but needs wood, which we requested on the first day and never received during our eight days.
