I'm reviewing the place itself, not the local accommodation. It's a peaceful spot surrounded by nature, with a little natural river beach where I learned to swim as a teenager. It's ideal for anyone looking for peace and quiet. The building, once a mill, has been nicely restored on the outside and has direct access to the river beach.

The house is a renovated old place, and staying there makes you feel like a local. It sits right on the river in beautiful countryside, without mosquitoes or too many insects. Ponte de Lima is very close, a pretty town with good options for dinner and food shopping. In Estorãos itself, there are only a couple of small bars.
