The hosts are gracious and welcoming, while still giving you space. The house is near the town square, and each room has air-conditioning, heating, and a large bathroom. It's a classic three-floor family home from the 18th century, with historic photos and beautiful antique furniture. The big-game heads on the walls may bother some animal lovers.

The garden was the highlight for us, and the house is quiet, central, and great for unwinding. The decor and home are beautiful, though the stuffed animal heads by the main entrance weren't for me, given my sympathy for animals. Our bed and pillows were comfortable, and breakfast was decent, with bread, fruit, cereal, yogurt, cake, butter and jam, ham and cheese, juice, milk, and coffee. It wasn't hot. We stayed one night while cycling the Camino de Santiago, and there is a small garage to store bikes. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay.

We had a small balcony off our room and slept wonderfully. The whole house is stylishly decorated with antiques, and there is a lovely little garden and pool for relaxing. Everything was spotless and well cared for, and breakfast was delicious. We were thrilled with this wonderful house and would return in a heartbeat.
